Infusion is one medical equipment that provides several fluids into the body through a needle vein to replace or food substances lost from body. The use of manual infusion determine number drops given patient and calculation manually. purpose this research design an automatic flow control device equipped with occlusion detection. This module consists Arduino Mega 2560, DC motor (stepper NEMA 17), optocoupler module, 4x4 keypad, TFT. are detected by sensor. microcontroller will process detection results send command move according settings entered. unit rate used in ml/min. After measuring using IDA calibration Fluke brand type 4 plus on parameter, average time 41 seconds have largest deviation 0.15 ml/min at setting 6 hours volume 500. While smallest 0.12 ml /min 500 ml. From measurements been carried out, expected help nurses regulate infusion. future can be developed again appearance directly displayed without having wait for stabilize.
